S60 2001 2.4 D, engine and dash light shutdown while driving.

Hi, have a S60 and when driving the engine shutdown and all dash lights goes off at random speed, temperatur, etc. I then have to press the clutch, wait for the lights to come back on and realese the clutch and the enigen starts. This happens often, i have checked the ECM and its look fine. Its not any signs of water and the box under the hood/wiper is dry and fine. If i dont press the clutch then the ligths dont come back on. Could it be the clutch sensor?
