98 V70 Alarm Disable

Is there a way to disable the factory alarm for remote start? On a 98 V70, no chipped key. I installed a remote start, but it sets off the alarm if I try to use the remote start, unless I unlock the doors then re-lock the doors with the remote start remote. I installed it myself on the weekend. I tapped into the door lock tumbler wiring for lock and unlock.

I have a wiring diagram for the lock system, and the drivers door key has a lock and unlock wire that goes to the alarm module. If you use the interior lock switch, it uses the same lock and unlock wire as the door key, but also an extra wire that goes to ground when either lock or unlock are pushed, so I assume that is how it knows if the door lock switch or outside key is used to unlock. I'm wondering if there is a wire I can connect to to disable the alarm when remote start is commanded. I assume there is a delay between locking and arming the alarm, which is why unlocking, then locking before remote starting works.

Here is wiring diagram. The 3/100 is the lock actuator/striker in the drivers door. 3/97 is the interior lock switch. I taped into wires going to pin a18 and a16 on the alarm module on the left. I had to use the remote start module to control a relay that connected the wire from pin a1 to either a16 or a18. I also need a double unlock pulse, I assume the first pulse disarms alarm, the second unlocks.

I am out of my depth on wiring stuff like this, but I have a Viper remote starter and immobiliser fitted to the R so it can be done. Perhaps a chat with an auto electrician or installer might be the way forward. Mine has the chipped key as well to get around but the guys at Visions managed it. I only have the one key. I know they had to add some extra component to the system to get it work, but that may be for the automatic trans override.

There is programming some sort for functions like possible for alarm thingy to disable it to becoming an alarm.. or not to alarm to door locks.
