It seems there have been similar issues reported on the forum and the cause was stated to be because there's two different axle mounting types, one using a bolt and one using a nut. I'm on the nut type which leaves me with a lot of thread protruding from the Thors. I'm contemplating just cutting the thread but might go for raised caps instead.
It could just be the nature of the axles you have, and not a model year thing. As abscate pointed out, you can't interchange them.

Some of the aftermartket axles I've seen have had what appeared to be longer snouts on the axles, but have cleared my center caps.

Does your axle thread all the way to the end, or does it have a smaller, unthreaded pilot section?
Cutting off a little bit of the end of the axle won't hurt anything. Just deburr it. The threads will get chased/cleaned when the axle needs to come out next.

The car ran two days before it was parked where sat. The only thing that had changed between then and now was I plugged in the passenger seat.

previously The car was driving around fine with no seats in it, so I don't know why it would be acting up all of a sudden. I thought it might have been the starter, but I pulled that and bench tested it and it's perfectly fine.

But anyways, aren't what I did for the day.

I pulled the bumper off to get the two screws for my fog lights I broke off months ago. Had to put a little bead on there and extract them with a pair of vise grips. And I got the header panel on from the car I scrapped this summer, because mine was broken.

Tomorrow I'm going to put the bumper back on get fog lights mounted up and possibly swap out my headlights.

My projector retrofits need the housing swapped. The nutsert on one of the headlights broke and I had to cut it off. So I'm swapping the projectors over to my C70 headlights, and I'm going to swap the shrouds so they match the chrome. I'm going to have to cut these shrouds a smidge, but it's not a big deal.

And hook up the high beams so that way I have stupid bright high beams.

Any help with the no start issue would definitely be appreciated. There is fuel there is no crank.

Ah-ha!

The one thing the remote starter does not bypass is the PnP switch on an Auto transmission. If that’s flaky, you will get a non crank. A good benchrunning starter that won’t crank in the remote terminal is a solid diagnostic for a PNP switch problem

You can deeper diagnose by jumping at the PNP switch

Wiring diagram is in this thread

viewtopic.php?t=78989&hilit=Remote+starter+terminal
Would this show any codes with vida?

I was going to ask if there was any write ups on cleaning them, but I found it.

This isnt my daily, so I don't have any issues waiting for replacement parts for rebuilding it vs just replacing it.

Just seems odd to me that it'd be perfectly fine one day and absolutely nothing the next.i watched Roberts video and thought it might be corrosion in it, but it's a pretty sealed unit.

Id like to put it all back together and try jumping it again and bypassing the pnp switch, but I also don't want to take it apart again lol

Here's my first post! I bought a broken C70 Coupe sight unseen with a probably blown Engine!
I am looking forward to learning from others. We had many 240 series Volvos in my 20s as hand-me-downs. I guess this is where the seed was planted and the madness started? Then upgraded to V70s when the children arrived. Looking forward to having time to tinker and fix 30-year-old cars to keep my inquiring mind active now the nest is empty  .

Finally getting updates and I can order new shocks, but I'm worried I might overlook something.

My shopping list for other required parts at the moments looks like this:
Rear shock mount 9461524
Rear bump stop 3546705
Rear bump stop Retaining Pin 9157631
Front upper strut mount bearing 802107
Front bump stop 9140067
Front strut dust boot 9140068

I've heard of some washers and bearings mentioned but haven't seen specifics, also should I spring (get it) for the IPD heavy duty upper spring seat?

Very nice looking car ! Even if the engine is toast, it still looks like a great find.

Worked on an auxiliary air tank for my 5 gallon makita air compressor. The compressor has good specs but I wanted to add a 10 gallon moto master air tank to help reduce the number of on off cycles. It also give me the capacity to use any high flow air tools for a short period of time.

The most strenuous tool used would be the rust proofing gun which I have tested on the compressor and it runs well. It can keep up with the tool and should not run over a 50% duty cycle per hour.

I added a t connection with 3 quick disconnects and a basic air filter for moisture to the tank. Charged it to 120psi with no issues. It holds air well and results in a portable 15 gallon air setup.

The mac5200 is lower pressure than other setups, however it is highly portable and should work for my needs (135psi) I did see a similar metabo 220psi setup however it had a lower rated Cfm at 90psi. I also trusted it slightly less than the makita
