That's a good setup. Makita tools in general are pretty solid, so you should get a lot of service life out of that compressor!

Battery died while car sat week at -31C. Its now after unmelting half dead so kicking for while so i thought i go get my less used battery from... "other Volvo". At secret location hidden from enemies on literally "no mans land" . Left 850 running while jumped in woods and go through snow to find Volvo snow castle.

... Well its in same condition so gonna order AGM battery next from somehwere as local stores asks too much from them.

We need some of that snow over here. We are going into the deep freeze by the weekend. Forecast for -40C with wind-chill by Friday! Eek!

We need a more progressive winter to ease us into the sudden cold. From +5-8C last week and down hill ever since. This morning was up to -2C, went and ran about 2 hours of some errands and it was down to -10C and a biting cold wind as well by noon. Here we go...............

Car batteries inside then so not these happens there

Stay warm!

Its kinda interesting after -31C i can go with just hoodie long time if its below -5C no problem. As sometimes -10C feels super chill but sometimes very mild feeling.
If though want cheat then first +100C sauna and out to no matter what temp is out there without clothes enjoy fresh air.
.. and back sauna!

Yeah, the sharp temperature changes are brutal! A shock to the system, that's for sure.
Meanwhile we had the most rain in one day here that we've had in a LONG time. So much that 3 leaks appeared in the roof of my shop that were never there before. Great! It literally filled a 30-something gallon trash can that had maybe 2 inches of water in it yesterday!
At least it was about 60 F, so that's a nice change over the low 50s we've been having.

THAT's a LEAK!

My buddy in Maine says they had 17" of snow, and now expect 3" of rain on top. YEEP!

Just realized I worded it like that was the bucket catching the leak... fortunately not! That trash can is just sitting outside. 5 gallon bucket inside to catch the leak, which is very small.

It's amazing how a really heavy rain manages to find otherwise sound roof leaks. Had that happen in Scotland with a new factory we were leasing. Turned out the numpties that built it had not put the seals under some of the metal roof bolts. The bolts were on the high step of the roof, so when it rained hard the water rose and got under the bolt heads. Owners of the building wanted us to pay to fix it!

Latest weather forecast has wind chills in the mornings on Thursday and Friday of -46 to -47C! Eek! I'm off to hibernate.....
