bmdubya replaced his AWD sub-frame with these. Hardest part is getting the bolts #8 out of the adjuster block if they are frozen in place (aluminum block/steel bolts), and part #2 off the bottom of the car.

The car is still in VA after the crash. I'm trying to get one of the cars going so I can give my Son something to drive. Weather looking good starting today. Will look at the condition of those bolts once towed home.

How much time is involved in removing one of those? Son said the rear wheel is cambered positive about 10 degrees after hitting the center divide. Perhaps there will not be other damages so it can be a straight swap.

Is it easier to buy one from you or look for a yard to pull it from locally? Don't really want to spend a lot of time on the ground in a yard.

Thank you abscate. I hope to have it towed home from Lynchburg sometime this week and will let you know. However, I pretty sure it's going to be the driver's side only unless the driver's side somehow has bent the passenger side also.

I started the car today after almost 4 weeks and the motor ran like butter. Haven't driven it just in case the tires decide to pop off the rim. Right before accident had done oil change, installed new aftermarket front strut brace, alignment and new tires. The battery is 11/22 battery, have front and rear rotors and pads ready to install, new front struts also. Installed new rear springs and shocks. The interior looks news except for the door card bubbles and the rest of the exterior was straight with no discernible dings.

I think I would like to attempt to replace both trailing arms, is this difficult? I haven't seen any tutorials on it yet. Would like to replace any consumables while I'm at it. I'll probably just smooth out the enormous dent on the rear quarter and replace both rims. The sheet metal on these P80's seems thick and rigid for sure.

It’s frightening how easy these things drop off.

Bolts 8,9,10 come off and the whole back end drops down. Use heat on those. 28 seconds of MAPP

Brake lines, parking brake cable, and ABS sensor wires
