Maserati 450S? Little hard to tell as the rear deck is missing. If that was in place it might have a raised fin behind the driver's head?

Also interesting to put that much weight so far back. Seems like it should have been against the bulkhead behind the seats, closer to the center of the car....unless...there's a transaxle / rear suspension hump there and not enough volume for the tank needed.

It's Friday -

In front is the 375MM or Mille Miglia. Classic formula of a big block in a small car. The Mille Miglia is a legendary 1000 mile race across Italy. Run until the late 50s when a crash killed many spectators. Now it's a posh tour for cars that were eligible for the original race. This particular car also ran in La Carrera Panamericana, the race the length of Mexico on open roads in the 50s. (That's also where the Porsche Carrera name comes from - they entered and won several times).

Clockwise left middle in yellow orange is a 275GTB, probably mid-late 60's. Could be one of many variations however - engine size, twin-cam, aluminum body, lots of them.

In the back left is a stylized mock-up of a wooden body buck, which they used to pound out the body panels by hand. Looks like a late 50's Testa Rossa to me. Has clear body shell portions and raw aluminum portions - neat idea.

Back right side is a early-60's prototype race car that I believe won at Le Mans at least once (before the GT40's). One of Ferraris first successful mid-engine race cars.

Middle right is of course the big Daytona coupe (or as they called it, the 365GTB/4 - say that 5 times) Big block hot rod, a steady 175 mph in 1968. It came out right after Ferrari had won 1-2-3 at the Daytona 24, the name stuck.

If anyone is curious about how they were named, the number is the displacement of one cylinder in CCs. So the 375 is 375cc x 12 cylinders, or 4.5 liters. That was a big V12 in the mid-50's. The 1949 166MM was a 2-liter V12. Tiny pistons, high revs.

I looked it up - bore was 60mm or 2 3/8"! Stroke 2 1/4".

Le Mans wins, overall and class wins:

Ha true.

But if you don't know these, does anyone?

BTW that middle red car Datsun more or less cloned the back half of for the 280ZX. I thought it was that for a second.
