VADIS test box

Anybody know where to find a test box for VADIS??

The VCT2000 boxes show up on eBay from time to time. I'm not sure if you can get them directly from Volvo anymore.

I'm not sure what the box is your talking about, however I was able to find a copy of VADIS software on Ebay. Paid $40 bucks for it, and it has been a life saver in my rebuild project. I've found part numbers in there that are not listed on-line as being available, but will show up in a search.

Well while I would like a VCT2000, I'm not even sure if it is something that I can use on my 93 850 with onboard (engine bay) OBD. While using Vadis I was walking through my tests to locate the issue with my fuel gauge and it suddenly asked my to clip the test box to the harness. From the pic it is a box with a bunch of little lights. I think its 981-3190

Good luck finding that one! I was also thinking the VST-2000 after I re-read your first post. You are right...that won't work on your car. The "test box" with the lights, I have no idea about. Maybe a Volvo dealer somewhere is throwing one out....I know that a few are closing up shop as Volvo is downsizing. You might try one of these if you know of one close to you, but still they might be required to send all of their stuff back to HQ.

After reading a little more it doesn't actuall have lights. It has holes to stick the voltohmeter into. I still can't sem to find one anywhere.
