There was a 98 V70 at our local auction with a minimum bid of $1450 CDN (about $1100 US) which sold. Next day a flipper had it on Kijjij and FBM for $2700. He had done nothing to is and it sold again almost immediately.
I looked the car over at the auction and it had red flags and repairs needed everywhere. Even if yo do the work yourself I had added up over $2000 of parts without even doing the Stage 0. People are nuts out there!!
