93 850 takes forever to warm up, little heat?

Post by jschick »

so how long does it take for your 850 to crank out heat? my 850 takes forever, atleast 10minutes to get good and warm, I get some luke warm air after about 5 minute. my Audi and old Saab would be warm only after 2 miles this 850 takes at least 4-5. I am only 5 miles from work so just as I get to work I am getting warm? 2.5 miles on 25-35MPH roads then 2.5 miles on 55mph. my temp gauge will hardly move for the first few miles, and when it is warm my gauge is about 1/4 the way up. I am probably going to try a thermostat but thought I'd see what others get?

Thermostat would be a good move. My 850 takes about 2 miles to get to operating temp in 30 degree weather.
