Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a good ECU for my 97 850 R. The part number I need is 261 203 628. I checked ebay but none match this one. Thanks, Dave

Robert has a couple ECUs, www.robertdiy.com or text/call his cell, the number is on the website and his Y/T channel.
69 1800s, @500k Death by Rust

I have spoken to a local guy I have met who used to rescue and rebuild 850R's. I got an 850R ECU for another forum member, and I have just checked with him and he still has a couple left.

I lucked out and one popped up on ebay. It's running again. Thanks to everyone for their help! Are there any companies that reliably rebuild these?

I think you mean rebuild the ECU?
