That hanging radiation will stress and open the side metal to radiator clamps, making it leak.

I killed a Nissens in three years that way. A couple of cheap SS bolts and washers fixes it

Weird, I have the driver's side radiator mount broken on my S70 and its a few inches low, but otherwise seems to hold. It was getting 100 miles a day until I hit the deer a week ago (radiator was prior to the deer hit).

It was late last night when I looked under the car, so it was actually the A/C condenser that broke loose. The radiator is thankfully OK, and the mounts are intact. So far there aren’t any leaks. Guess I’ll be redoing the A/C system in time for summer.

Volvo have a stupid system for mounting brackets for the AC condenser to the radiator. The bracket detaches with age leaving it to float.

I have removed and re-fitted a few of these with careful use of epoxy and short self threading screws.

I've been a bit nervous driving home since then... I don't want to wreck my 850, too. The S70 is bad enough.

I've been using my high beams more, trying to look further down the road, and off to the side, where I see many many deer, usually head down... but still, I'm nervous about it.
