Solid. Runs great. No leaks. Good condition. All wheels are true. Extra set of same wheels with Winter Tires. IPD exhaust. A few cosmetic issues. Brand New rear calipers (Volvo), rotors (Zimmerman), pads (ATE). Needs new rear tires. Strong turbo. Strong heat and A/C. Suspension rides smooth and solid.

Being 18 years old and having 150k miles, so many parts have been replaced or upgraded. Original clutch (absolutely no slipping, feels good and shifts well) and radiator (inspects good, no leaks, no cooling issues).

Seat covers are in really good shape. 6 inches of driver seat seam was re-stitched.

One door replaced and is slightly a different color of grey.

Anti Skid Service Light would need a steering angle sensor, software upgrade, recalibrate. There's lots of info about this issue. Still runs great with it turned off, no skidding, still safe and solid.

You know how great these cars are and this is a rare manual transmission. This one is perfect for a daily driver. Or an 800hp sleeper project.

THE REASON FOR SELLING: I had a dream that my soon-to-be-driving daughter would learn to drive manual transmission and be safe and secure inside this reliable luxury sedan. Sadly, she doesn't want to have anything to do with this car. sighs. some kids these days...

Yes, a good friend bought this car as a possible project. He had it for about 12 months before me. For years, I had been asking to buy one of his Volvos. He is a meticulous engineer and spends dozens of hours checking everything and replacing lots of parts. My post says "one door," it's actually both passenger side doors that were replaced. He told me he chose to replace the doors because he had never undertaken that task and wanted to, plus the original ones had some rust. The doors were pulled from pull-a-part and painted at the bodyshop, then installed by him. It's a real good car, just needs a loving owner to keep it going well past 300k.

This seems special enough to be on Cars And Bids. Not a show car like Bring A Trailer but the healthy intersection of rare and useful which seems to fit CaB. I'm surprised to see a spaceball shifter on something that's not an R. Seems like a solid deal. Good luck.
