My US market 850 got badges, but when I bought new lights for my 99 S70, after breaking one, I bought a set for my 850, too. The S70 got white/clear, but I bought amber for the 850, as I thought it would compliment the paint better. I have yet to install them, but am hoping to get to it this summer. I still need to buy the connectors, as I'm assuming I don't have the wiring already.

Also, that's the first time I've seen a switch on an OBD2 reader.
I'd snip a couple of the connectors from the junkyard. Unless you can find some new ones, in which case that would be even better... they get brittle and the terminals like to back out.
The wiring is pretty easy to run though. Just piggy back it off the corner turn signal light wiring.

I'll buy new. I've seen them on Amazon and Ebay. I haven't checked, but my confidence is not high in finding P80 parts cars in the local salvage yard. My P80s are the only ones I've seen on the road. Most Volvo's I see around here are P2 and newer. I suppose I could take the ones off my S70, since I hit a deer with it, but I'm not sure it even has two.... one side has nothing connected to the light.

I see your side lights (just in front of the mirrors, I have no idea the proper name) are amber.

Also, that's the first time I've seen a switch on an OBD2 reader.
We call them side repeaters, the previous owner of my car changed the orange lenses for smoke grey which looked cheap so I managed to find orange lenses and changed them back to original.

The switch for the OBD reset is to accommodate different models, apparently they have different systems and the switch needs to be moved depending on what car it is in. I usually use my Sykes Pickavant reset tool but decided to try the Draper this year. Both work fine so might be time to move one on…

I had no idea, but it makes sense. I think this one is more free flowing than the non-charcoal with all the tree crap stuck in it :D
Even more free flowing when you dutifully send them back to FCP for free flowing returns .....twice a year

Both door marker lights in my V70 I were broken (well, one was missing entirely), so I bought two new used ones (very inexpensively) which are not broken.. However today I found out that they are in fact broken as well, the clip is broken off on one and cracked on the other one...

This is another perfect opportunity for the 3D printer! A quick sketch in Fusion 360 and less than 15min later this little piece spawned on the build surface of the 3D printer. You can see the reason why the part is asymmetrical: The cantilever sits on the build plate in this configuration to avoid support structures. I wanted to keep the other side a bit more bulky though to make it easier to align. The repair piece will be glued onto the original light.

I'm somewhat impressed that I was able to replicate the original shape so well. As you can see, the cantilever is much longer and (hopefully) therefore less prone to failure. A prototype will have to tell how the properties are (as in: does it sit tight enough but not too tight).

Yet another great 3D printed part idea! This is a a super common failure point.

Yes, I broke one before I even realized what was happening. That's why I decided to buy all four new. This 3d printed part looks fantastic if it works well.

Funny, now that you said "all four", I realized that the rear has these lights as well...
One side is in perfect condition, but the other side was smashed to pieces

Unfortunately the inner plastic part that is supposed to hold the light has been detached from the door panel, so I might have to take the door panel off to glue it back on. This escalated quickly...

One way or another, I did a test fit (actually two test fits with another one pending) and it did fit quite well the first try but I optimized the shape and added more preload. It wasn't really snug.

And the repair piece got a sexy waist, which makes holding it in place while the glue dries a lot easier (and it looks good... which was the main reason I added it).

I made a short video before work. As you can see, it snaps in quite nicely and you can get it out again, but it won't fall out on it's own. It might take a few days until I publish everything on Printables.
