I am trying to install a cabin air filter in my 1994 850 Turbo wagon with ECC, and running into a roadblock with the IAT sensor.
This is only present on the 850 with ECC through M.Y. 1994, per the whitepaper for it.
I ordered the bracket listed in the whitepaper, and have a screw and washer, but cannot figure out where the bracket actually mounts to.
I grabbed the filter adapter from a 2000 S70 at the junkyard, and of course a new cabin air filter.
Pollen season here in NC is one for the records this year, and my wife and I have awful allergies, so it was time. How my car was originally, with a "rain shield" and no CAF bracket: The bracket I purchased per the whitepaper: How I currently mounted it: I want to do this right, but I haven't found any info on it - right now the sensor is just flopping around under the rain tray.
Thanks for any advice the hive mind can offer
