Salvage Transfer Box / Angle Gear / Transfer Case

Hi,
I’m in the UK looking for this part, can anyone help please, they seem rarer than Hen's Teeth.

A transfer box for a Volvo V70 – Cross Country – Auto year 2000 - US 2001

I can't find reference to this part number. I'm assuming you mean the angle gear? If so, they are getting hard to find.

Are the splines stripped on yours or is it the connector that has stripped out?

thanks for asking, yes I mean Angle Gear. it's completley blown the case is cracked and everyting in it is beyond repair. It was quite specataculer when it went!

Wow, I have never heard that. There are a couple of Volvo specialist breakers if I recall in the UK. Maybe a call to Volvo as they may have changed up the part number. I'm going to assume your car is the P80 chassis and not an early P2 (2001 model year in North America).

You have to be careful as there was a change if I recall due to the rear flange diameter changing. I'm not sure if you can swap the flanges to make older variants work.

Those are 2 of many I could see. I would stress to check the part number as I know the part numbers on the casing is not the actual Volvo art number.
