why do I get invalid session all the time?

Post by jschick »

Mathew,

any idea why I continually get "invalid session" when I try to post a responce or a new post. I am on AOL 9, and windows 98. no other forum has this problem, I am shown as being logged in and somtimes I can copy my post, close it and try again and paste my responce back in and it will somtimes work, sometimes I can do nothing. I have not been able to respond to your responce to my question on my 93 850 service light.

thanks
Jon

I still can not reply to any posts I can start new topics or edit my posts with no problems. I have tried your suggestions with no luck? I have dissabled my virus scan as well. seems odd I can start new topics and edit?

Can you clear your browser's cache, and if that doesn't work by itself, reboot. Try again and let me know if you get the same problem.

Also, there's a session time out period of 10 or 20 minutes that I've hit. It's characterized by me taking over 10 or 20 minues to write my response, and the period has elapsed, and I get a similar message to the one you're getting.
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

Also -> Amazon link
. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!
