2005 Volvo V70R M66 (six speed manual transmission with "speedball" shifter) AWD, moderately modified. Classic seeks collector for long-term relationship. PRICE DROP: $11,999 (was $17,999).
Titanium Grey Pearl (455) dark grey exterior, Navy Nordkap dark blue leather interior (A576). Current mileage below 180,000.
Volvo scored a perfect “10/10” with this AWD factory hot rod wagon. This one has been carefully modified to be even faster, but still very reliable and very comfortable.
Never raced, never abused. Fantastic road car. Drives effortlessly, cruises smoothly, and responds eagerly. Reassuringly solid. Low-profile stealth machine. Runs great; much faster than new. Surprisingly good fuel mileage, too.
Second owner (purchased from equally obsessive first owners in 2010 with ~35K on the odometer).
Performance modifications:
Performance modifications were designed to improve airflow through the motor, engine management, and handling, while preserving reliability. Modifications include Stage Two ECU upgrade, second cold air intake into air filter housing, K&N filter, upgraded aluminum performance intercooler, and turbo-back performance stainless exhaust system. Current output significantly higher than factory trim (estimated >350 hp), with improved torque band. This car responds more quickly and pulls harder than new. iPd track spec front and rear sway bars (bushings replaced 2023 or 2024).
Always garaged. Obsessively maintained.
Premium full synthetic oil since day one; 5k oil change intervals; all fluids flushed and replaced at 100k. Service performed at dealership or by a local independent Volvo shop. (Records will be provided.)
Additional included goodies:
Two sets of silver iPd replica Pegasus R 17” wheels (one purchased 2015, the other 2021) with good tires (high performance all-season tires on newer wheels; performance snow tires on older wheels). Two OEM spare tires, both slightly used. Original owner’s manuals in original Volvo case. Two switchblade keys, one valet key. Fairly new floor mats (both carpet and all-weather sets). Volvo crossbars for roof rack. Aftermarket Parrot Bluetooth hands-free cell phone system connected to front speakers. Nearly new Seal Skin Supreme car cover.
Known issues:
Left foglight does not work (housing is broken). Fuel gauge occasionally stops working briefly (occurs a few times a year; suggest resetting trip odometer with each filling). Driver’s seat shows signs of wear; small area of seam stitching behind side bolster needs repair. OEM lower grill removed due to intercooler upgrade.

Hi BEJinFbk,
Always a fair question. This has seen winter use in Minneapolis; it's always been garaged, and the undercarriage washed whenever conditions permitted, but it has been exposed to salt. Before listing the car, I asked my mechanic to look at the undercarriage and share his assessment of the condition; he described it as showing some surface rust but nothing that gave him particular concern.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions. Meanwhile, try to enjoy Alaska enough for me, too.
