B5254T in 94 T5?

Post by Clemens »

Because I just stumbled across a used B5254T out of a wrecked 97 V70 AWD:

Would this fit into my 94? The B5254T only has 193hp and a 13g. Could I just swap my 15G and Motronic related sensors over onto the block?

People have been swapping 15g/16T with T5 ECU and injectors on B5254T cars for a while, so I dont really see why it wouldnt work if you ran one with 15G and a T5 M4.3 ECU.
The engine itself is identical to a B5234T from the outside, every sensor should swap fine.

If you're not chasing power goals (where the 2.5 weaknesses are showing), it might even actually perform a bit better due to the extra compression
