Hello everyone, first time posting here but your information has been invaluable during this project so I figured I'd let you all have the opportunity to buy everything I don't need. If I did anything wrong with this post please let me know.
Bought this as a parts car when I rear-ended somebody in my wagon. I thought about keeping the manual swap for myself but I really don't have the means of performing the swap right now and I could use the money. When I bought the car I was told the timing belt broke and it needed a valve job. I confirmed the timing belt was broken, so I didn't even bother trying to start it. There was a bunch of rusty sludge in the coolant tank so I figure there might have been more wrong with the engine as well. Coincidentally as soon as I pulled the windshield we had several days of downpour, so most of the upholstered parts are probably toast (lapse in judgement on my part, sorry everyone). Body is in pretty nice shape.
I can pull and ship most medium/small parts for you. I leave to go back to college in about a week and a half but I can make weekend trips every few weeks if needed (college is in Raleigh if you're near there). I can also arrange to have someone there while you come and pull them on your own. (I don't have any jacks, tools, etc where this car is stored, you will need to bring everything).
What is already gone: Hood, core support and everything attached to it (lights, horns, etc.), dashboard (but my old busted one is still there if you want to scavenge parts from it), airbags, seat belts, radiators, coolant tank.
The car has a clean NC title if you want the whole thing.
I'm happy to answer any questions. Located in Aydlett, NC 27916. Please note as stated before I have never seen this car run so I cannot confirm functionality of anything.
Thank you.

Pretty sad about the interior following the windshield removal, and now comes Debby.
Wish I was closer.

How is the center console trim where the shifter is? Would be interested in the shift boot as well. I live in Raleigh and can arrange to meet you to pick up the center console. Will PM
Update for everyone, It seems a good amount of the interior has survived. With the exception of the passenger seat and headliner, everything else is somewhere between "perfectly fine" and "probably salvageable". The driver's seat was recovered in the wrong color at some point as well. It's still tan but a really weird looking tan. Many of the plastics are cracked.

Let us know the status, since classes have started - and it sounds like there was snotty weather down that way again.Jiisus wrote: ↑10 Aug 2024, 15:29 Update for everyone, It seems a good amount of the interior has survived. I may be making a trip to Pinehurst at some point.
