I had one like that on Shagg with a firm warning from seller to fix that , stat. When the pad pin hole has rusted through it has truly reached end of life.

P.S. Funnily this side works better than not so rusted side after i tried couple times. So needs replace both side then after engine work. My Volvo for various mess reasons has been now sitting almost 4 months but maybe now coming back. I have no idea what did sit on caliber to rust it..

I'd make a few prayers before trying to loosen that bleed screw given the state of the caliper

V70 is acting up a bit again  Ordered stuff to log the fuel pressure, and if it's the issue AGAIN the pump might be thrown into low orbit

Burn some sort of tribute to Odin or whatever Norse gods are involved in brakes.

Pulled some premium rear deck speakers from a s60.

The brackets are mostly the same except for the tweeter piece and left is right and right is left to match up the mounting holes and it won’t fit correctly with the trunk hinge there. The cover doesn’t fit exactly as the tweeter is covered by the center cubby console in the deck but doesn’t seem to have any distortion or vibration. May just take the speakers out and put them in the older brackets but way more bass now

I have been driving my 1987 Volvo 244 around town about once a week. It starts and runs well, but has a few issues I need to address.
The steering is twitchy so It likely needs alignment.
The temperature and fuel gauges do not work most of the time. A few whacks on the dash and they may start working for a while.
The overdrive button seems to stick and overdrive does not engage all of the time.
A home car wash has cleaned up the original white paint and it looks better now (mostly).

I finally got the pinch bolt out of the driver's side control arm...a task started several weeks ago. Hopefully the new one goes on easily sometime this week, and the other side moves much quicker now that I own a cut-off wheel. I just need some coaching on how to explain our family's need to acquire a much larger air compressor to run the cut-off wheel efficiently in the future.

I wanted to get more done this weekend, but putting new low beam bulbs in my wife's 2013 Subaru used up far more time than a light bulb change should.

A compressor is justified by the savings on what you would pay a mechanic to do the repair!

Had noticed a while ago that the V70 handbrake was locking only one wheel, thought it just needed an adjustement.
