Denver
I’ve got a seller/friends. An old couple selling cars they don’t use. They’ve had them for decades. I believe they are the 1st owner of one and second owner of the other. Good provenance, in other words.
The wagon is baby blue, with old parking stickers on the inside of the windshield. Haven’t seen the IH.
Probably not running.
I’ll have more details and photos in about a week.

No updates. The couple is elderly, he is very limited in his mobility due to a back problem and she just had knee surgery. She wanted to put the sale off until after she recovers. I'm due to speak to her on the phone, if not visit and help out around the house, so I'll have more info in the upcoming week or two.
The sale of the cars was more "eventually" than "soon" last time I brought it up.

I spoke to her on the phone yesterday, and she said she's recovering well. Walking without crutches in their house, working with a physical therapist. I brought up the cars and she said "maybe in two weeks." That's the update on that.
My thoughts, only speculation: it may be longer than that. When I started helping the couple in July, she mentioned the cars and wanting to sell. I was excited to help, but after I inspected them briefly she wasn't comfortable when I listed the (my) to-do list to get them ready for sale, and she put the brakes on the project.
Question for anyone: should I try to start the cars? Inflate the tires and wash them? Or is the best way to sell them to sell as-is? I've never sold a 50+ year old "classic" car. These aren't rare or exotic of course, but I could see some restorers wanting to buy cars as they sit, with no meddling/attempts to get them running.

My opinion on the old cars:
Offer them as is. Let a buyer decide how to start or move them. A knowledgeable buyer will have their own ideas of the best practice. This will be less effort on your part and less explaining of what you did and didn't do to the cars. There will also be fewer questions about how the cars were stored for the long rest.
Very easy to say 'here it is where it sat for years'.

^ Totally agree. Just leave them be.
Pics at some point would be great. They might get sold right here on MVS.

Stay clear of the “ start to see if it will run” let the buyers sort that out.
Sell as a non-runner, as is, will not start. and don’t let the buyers start it either. Anyone who isn’t capable of a refurb is just a flipper who will low ball it , anyway.
If there is no action, you can try get it running a month later. That will scare off the flippers too.
