We've decided to determine the proper number of Sprinters per residential block. It's increasing daily (not the proper number). They don't fit in any garage, so they're out cluttering up the street, often plugged in with extension cords.. One guy has a big tall Sprinter AND a commando-looking thing called an Earth Roamer. Well over $150,000. Does he actually use them?

We see hipster couples driving their very large Sprinters to the coffee shop... You don't have a small car? You don't have tennis shoes?

There are quite a number in Denver. I don't see them plugged in, just parked. A guy I know is in the last stages of completing his DIY Sprinter camper build. A good friend just retired and bought one. He uses it for overnight mountain fishing trips... he's a longtime fly fisherman.

We have a neighbor a few blocks down with a new one. Retired Doc. It's his second one. Posh inside - like a glamourous Vanagon camper on steroids with hardwood floors. He really uses it - mtn biking, camping, kayaking, home base on ski trips. He and his wife figured out how to fit it on the small Alaska ferries with kayaks on top, took the boat from Seattle to Glacier Bay in Alaska, and the Queen Charlotte Islands off BC. (There's a new correct native name I can't think of, sorry).

Another neighbor a mile away has an old faded AWD Vanagon camper with this sticker in the side window:

This is vintage Old Missoula attitude right here.

Sprinter camper -

One of these tall AWD's has moved in down the block. Commando flat black. He parks it in the alley - it doesn't fit, the garbage truck has skipped us twice.

EarthRoamer - I've heard rumors these are over $500,000.

They drop in value from $1.8M to $1.7M.

I'll do the sand removal for $750k, it goes back up in value to $1.8M, and everybody's happy.
