Oh no way! Look what I just tripped over looking at sports cars listed for sale in faraway lands - not saying which lands.

I saw that shape and rear window and said WHOA! I will not say, but I am surprised, quite!

Isn’t this an interesting one! Ford of France produces a car with Italian design, built by the Facel Vega people, with a French version of the Flathead V8! I wonder how different it is from the US Flathead.

There’s one for sale in the nether lands, not cheap!

Reliant Scimitar SS1. Last gasp from a company that produced some interesting cars. There was a later attempt to revive the brand may Middlebridge but it didn't last long.

It stands tall enough one wouldn't have to bend over far to get the golf clubs out.

It's not too bad from the rear 3/4 shot seen in your link. I don't hate it, for what it is. It is what I'd term a dollar store Giorgetto Giugiaro design. Those English really loved to try out cars when it was still economically feasible for a guy to start up a 10-man car manufacturer and put his best foot forward.
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

Also -> Amazon link
. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!

Never would have guessed that. Sort of Model A from the rear, Bugatti from the front.
