Everyone here speaks really good English although the primary language is Croatian which seems to be a Slavic/ Baltic dialect. Only the older people don’t always speak English fluently.

I spotted what seemed to be purported to be a future P1800. It was in a poorly made youtube video with a robotic voice reading choppy text. Made no sense. Most of it showed what looked like a new C40-ish car, but they kept popping this image in to the zooms - a completely different, lower, wider car. It's not real, it's all digital modeling.

^ Various Volvo renderings appear from time to time, for clicks I'd guess. Same with Volvo pickup truck renderings. Every one or two years I'll run across a "Will Volvo Build a Pickup?" post or video.

Here's my VW and a nice gen 3 XC70 from a restaurant in Cherry Creek last night:

Matt - I just saw pics of the Italian version of your car. Alfa 156 Sportwagon. Two-liter twin-spark engine, 6-speed, great seats. Brown!
We never got this car in the US.

What a pretty wagon, my goodness. I love it. Two sparkplugs per cylinder? Thigh bolsters in the back, and here I am wondering why it's taken US market cars 100 years to get them in the front!

BMW had front seat thigh bolsters in the 90s, Volvo in the 2010s... and there's several others now I'm sure. (Did the gen 1 XC90 Executive have them?)

1987 BMW E30 (325i) sport seats. Made by Recaro. That thigh bolster is adjustable, moves forward and back. I love them.

* I learned a bit of related car trivia - Reutter was a German coachbuilder who built the early Porsche 356's. Porsche eventually bought them to bring production in house. Then.....

"The foundation of today's brand was laid in 1963, when Reutter rebranded. REutter CAROsserie (coachbuilder) became RECARO."
