Meanwhile, the earlier deep blue coupe is the Jensen Interceptor, with a Chrysler V8.

I love the Rochdale. As Matthew said definitely a Jag influence.

My cousin owned both a Rover 3500 SDI and a Rover 3500 P6 as we badged them here.

My sister was dated by a car salesman for a small while. He arrived to pick her up once in a pink Jaguar XJS and then later in a Triumph Dolomite.

Funny part of it was the same salesman sold my mum a car that is pictured below and guesses welcome 😀

This looks a bit like a Mitsubishi Colt offered in US about 1978. Or other Japanese car company of same era.

1974 Subaru 1400 DL

Never seen one. At first I thought it was a early 1970's Datsun, but the front grille was all wrong. That was a tough one!

Neil you responded while I wrote my response to lugnut. Well the Subaru 1400DL had frameless door windows, independent suspension with torsion bar rear end, a horizontally opposed cylinder layout, front wheel drive, an electric fuel pump and a spare tyre mounted in the engine bay. We had a metallic chocolate brown one.

I think we drove one of these in high school drivers ed. It was a manual so it was fun. Learned how to downshift - instructor glared at me. Got to take it up a canyon SW of Denver.

Everything else was an automatic Malibu or huge Impala. Sigh.
