98 S70 T5 Coolant pipe

Hi folks,

I'm chasing down a coolant leak on our 98 S70 T5. While investigating I found the metal cooling line that runs between the engine and the turbo in not so good a shape. This is the metal line that runs across the backside of the engine and is above the exhaust manifold heat shield. I've searched and cannot find a part number or anywhere that carries the part itself. Help please!

It might be possible to get one from a junkyard or used parts supplier. I have had good luck checking with voluparts in Atlanta.

Yep, at $335 I'd say it's defiantly a junk yard part

I am also looking for the same pipe for my 1995 855 NA. The section that goes into engine block has a tiny hole which leak coolant out, Volvo discontinued this part for 850.

You migh be able to use the 99- pipe

For this application. You would need to replace the lower rad hose for the longer 99 and perhaps block off unused turbo ports

Still available new
