“Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino ‘
I had the best Fiat in college, owned by someone else.
Fix it Again , Tony.
X19 coupe. Awful car to work on, beautiful to look at, and women flocked to you, usually to give you a ride from your broken car.

Interesting! A very Cobra / AC nose, but smaller(?) and then by the doors it’s got more of a Spitfire feel. Not another Fiat?
Really minimal trim, it’s nice. Look at how the headlight is fitted to the fender.

So let's look at our clues, Detective Poirot....
1 - It looks very Italian to me, BUT...it could be a car from somewhere else with a nice Italian suit. (Example Spitfire)
The AC Ace is not Italian - it became the Cobra. It was engineered by John Tojeiro (with design by Cavendish Morton?)
This 1953 AC Ace was designed by Eric George Gray -
The 1958 Ace Zagato Coupe, designed by....Zagato....
2 - It's small....what kind of engine?
3 - The badge I don't recognise. It's not a yellow Ferrari rectangle. A coachbuilder logo would almost never get the primary hood ornament spot, they would be on the flanks and rear.
4 - The headerless windshield is very cool.
5 - Drum brakes, so I'd guess pre-1960.
6 - It's not a kit car. It's important enough that it earned a rope around it.

We had a similar one earlier. That's a British Rover sedan. They were cool.

I'm racking my brain on this one. I phoned a friend - if they answer I won't say. They won't know it either...
If it's a kit, it's a very high quality job. But I don't think it is.

Ohhh-kay. I hunted for coachbuilders with similar shaped 1950's roadsters. Most are way off. My friends were no help.
Touring:
Ferrari 166MM barchetta - nope Ferrari 340 America by Touring - nope Cisitalia 202 fin-tail by Farina (different Faraina from Pininfarina) - nope Fiat 1100 Barchetta by Colli - nope Bertone:
Aston Martin DB2 roadster - nope Ferrari 166 Inter cabriolet - nope Ferrari 250GT SWB prototype - nope! Vignale (which usually means Michelotti designed them):
1950 Osca MT4 Vignale Berlinetta - nope, but look at that fender and headlight, hmm Forgot to write this one's name down! Oh, it's a Ferrari. But nope. Triumph Italia prototype by Michelotti - nope. (this previews the later TR4) Siata 300 Barchetta - nope Siata Daina 1400 coupe - nope
but...but...there is something familiar about Michelotti and also Siata and that Bertone Siata 300......
Ah HA! Its the Siata 208S Roadster designed by........Michelotti the great! And here's the frosting - it has the very same Fiat pushrod V8 as Foggy's last pic! https://www.google.com/search?sca_esv=0 ... =918&dpr=1

He's a clever one!
