2001 V70XC Service Manual / Repair Manual

Man, I scoured the internet for hours yesturday and couldn't find a place to buy a service manual for the 2001 V70XC that I bought last week. Does anyone know where to get one??? Or if it is available on CD where I can get one??

I want to do somethings on my own and do them right, instead of having to take the car in to the dealer so I can have a bulb changed etc.

Looks like the comprehensive manuals are sold by dealers, and they're on CD-ROM. I think the mention of $1600 is incorrect however.

I contacted the stealer and they said that they don't make manuals available to the public.

what a downer, I must say that I am not going to go to the repair shop everytime something needs looking at!!!

mmm looks like Haynes may not even make one for the 2001+ 70 model... only the 1998-2000 850 near-clone 70s.

I wonder how much different the 2001 is from the 2000 or even the 1999, maybe I should look at one of those manuals and see if there are some similarities.

Bodies are quite different, engine is the same, but higher HP from chip programming (or a slightly bigger turbo). Interior, electrical... I have no idea.
