Rear cam seals

Post by misha »

What are part # for these?
I allready looked about Corteco & Victor Reinz and it seems that both are the same.
I'm talking about the ones behing cam position sensor and the one behind distributor cap & rotor.

Volvo OE is made by Corteco,Victor Reinz is also a premium choice.
I'll see what i can get.
The one behind cam position sensor appears to start failing.Still no oil dripping but a bit greasy at the back side of sensor.
I hope it's not a valve cover....i need to inspect that area more carefully.
If it proves that seal is bad...i think that the one behind cap & rotor is not far from failing in near future.

I've done a lot of these on P80 cars: both rear cam seals are the same part number, intake (under cap) and exhaust (under cam sensor).

Yes. On the right side of the engine Both are the same part number.

I switched out cap/plug/wires on one side and the camshaft position sensor on the other when I did them
