Radio stops after 15 seconds, C30, 2008

Post by Amsterdam »

Hi,

After having charged the 12V battery the radio starts normally, but after 15-20 seconds it stops working, and remains dead until I start the car next time, when the same thing happens. I have disconnected the battery and left it for an hour, this was an advice I got, but unfortunately that didn´t help. Anyone who has an idea how to fix this?

Radios are usually fairly cheap at this age of car. I would look for a used one and swap it over. It is likely a failing or failed component.
