Where to buy VADIS?

eBay...make sure it's from a reputable seller and you get the install code.

Thanks. I found one but the seller says: "(however, this, like ALL other Volvo VADIS items on eBay, requires that you set back the date on your PC (the only difference is that they don't tell you, I do!)." Is this correct?

It depends on the version you get....if you get the last version made (Feb. 2005 I believe- my copy says: VADIS Application Version: 6.7a.2775 Edition : VADIS 2005 Edition A - EN) like I have you won't have to.

I have the same version and have no problems. Check eBay UK for cheaper prices than the US site.

Probably a copy but since Volvo has gone away from VADIS and is now using VIDA, they don't seem to care that these are flooding the market. His seller rating is good and if you look at individual feedback, those who bought the VADIS discs were satisfied. Go for it....even if it turns out to be a bum deal, you're not going to be losing much. Btw, the last set I got also was 2 disks with the wiring diagram, so it's probably the same set I have. Only one thing I can think of that isn't in his ad and that's whether or not it has the installation key or not. You might want to write him a question to make sure.

They are all copies and mostly from the same original disc. I seem to recall during the long saga of Les & Reilly, MIJ and I had the same installation key and we did not buy them from the same seller.

My Volvo source told me that Volvo were not bothered if the discs were passed on as they were no use to the dealers. They certainly have not tried to stop their sale on eBay.
