Wow... American...? Not American...? Photo context implies US locations. Headlight surround might say Oldsmobile? Not a C1 Corvette knockoff? Nope - that was the F-88 thing.

Woodill Wildfire, developed by a fellow in California (naturally) who ran a family Dodge and Willys dealership, '52-'55. One source says 35 complete cars built with an additional 2-300 kits produced. Series I used Willlys running gear, the next batch were Ford powered.

Body by Glasspar, the same folks who built the Kaiser Darrin.

Considered the first 'production' glass body cars (see "35", above), collapsed in the shadow of Corvette.

That is the great Dan Gurney's Eagle Westlake V-12 Formula 1 car, in which he won the 1967 Grand Prix at Spa in Belgium.
Made of titanium and magnesium, a variation of his Indy car design. A broken half shaft cost him a near-win at the German GP.

amazing

I think 1970s are the prettiest decade for F1, but that is a strong case for 1960s.
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

Also -> Amazon link
. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!

Cute little thing, and it does show the family resemblance to the Bantam.
A bit later now.
