It looks like a Lotus, but I don't think it is. Front end/headlights is vaguely a Honda S2000, proportions Lotus.

Opel Speedster, 2001-'05, just your average aluminum spine mid-engine GM built 2,000 lb. roadster. (GM owned Opel at the time.)

A lengthy story in the New York Times reported that GM bailed out Lotus after the marriage broke up, and in return asked Lotus to let Opel build a stand alone model on the aluminum platform, with the GM Ecotec four as power. One source says ca. 7,200 total production.

Back about 1970 when the Ford Pinto was new, Ford advertised the car as radical. One of the available colors was named Anti-establish-MINT. My 14 year old self thought that was really cool.

Someone I went to highschool with drove a 1975 Pinto panel wagon into the school parking lot every day, It was "Flesh" coloured! Factory original colour offered for several years, Ford called it "Pastel Chamois".
