Anyone have a wagon for a person in need?

Does anyone have a spare wagon for a person in need? I know a military veteran with no money and a rusted out truck which won't pass inspection in two months who needs a bare bones wagon which will pass inspection. He may be able to pay a little bit for it over time, but really might need that money to maintain it.

I've been working with this man for years to find his current truck, do some maintenance to save him money, and help him work with shops for other maintenance. The frame has been rusting for years so I've helped him find welding shops to fix it a few times. The rust has finally doomed the truck to not pass inspection.

To make matters worse, a shop just failed miserably to replace a stuck brake caliper (because I was too busy to). They didn't torque down ANY bolts causing a dangerous failure which he will have to fight to make them repair.

He may stop driving in 3-7 years, thus the wagon could go to someone else. Unfortunately, he may not treat the wagon too well, both from lack of funds and because he can't help messing with it.

Ideally, I would help him by doing the maintenance, but I've had so little time recently. Ideally he'd have something which didn't need much work for a few years, or could decline in ways which still passed inspection.

I have two spare wagons but one is on long term loan (and can't pass inspection) and the other is awaiting major work. I won't have time for 6-12 months to work on them, then they'd take many months to get through inspection. Maybe I could get him one at some point, thus return whatever he got from someone responding to this request, but I have no estimated timeline for that.

I know it's a lot to ask. I've been helping this man get by for years and we did decently except for darn frame rust. Thanks for considering this request.

I’ve got budget to do a Capital auction of a 1500-2500. I could donate it at end to my community college program. The gems are there but they aren’t in every auction.

I could loan Elizabeth but I really don’t want her trashed. Could you swap loaners and use Elizabeth to bridge the gap? She would have to learn stick.

Thanks for considering it. I can watch Capital NH which is 30 mins from me. I'd buy and restore one from them but I don't have the time now (and it would cost me more than $2500). How could you see this working? Buy in NH, I diagnose and order parts, you visit NH for a few days to fix it on my lift?

I would be hesitant to lend this man a car that you love or even like. I could strictly tell him not to mess with anything. He's not a slob, just fidgety and may be a slight accident risk. He wants a stick, which I've told him not to expect these days. It was hard finding his 5-speed truck, but I did.
