I guess geely decided to learn from ford how to screw something royaly. Guess the era of Irv's record and free advertising is no longer of interest to big bosses. Can't imagine entire program was costing volvo too much(maybe $20 for envelope, badge, a4 paper) but the pride we took to get there, the amount of money we spent on parts and service probably was a pretty good penny for them.

I suspect the participants of MVS may be only the long tail of total Volvo ownership.

They don't need to have good PR. They are only happy selling us $500 parts that are NOS and 20 years ago that cost $50 when they were made!
