Really ??
I have 2 in the garage (Dr and Ps) that probably came out of my old '96 GLT. Not sure how to dispose of them, and I'm not up for a hurtful prank on anyone. I actually pondered swapping the Ds one into her car recently as I chased down the SRS code.

@Goupil Are you able to "refresh" that FP relay?

Yes, but last time I checked they didn't carry them anymore and they had sent me a set of 10 valve wires.
You too? Mine initially arrived as 10-valve wires, but had the 20 valve part number on them. I assume someone at the factory messed up. They initially seemed doubtful I had the wrong wires, but they did ask for pictures. When they realized I did indeed got the wrong parts, they acted very quickly to get me the right ones, and didn't make me send back the wrong ones before shipping. In fact they didn't ask for them at all.
Maybe I bought mine from IPD? I know at the time I was having trouble finding anyone with a stock of the Bougicord wires at all and I just got refunded. They were too tall on the engine deck and did not fit on the alternator posts. I wonder why there is a difference, and I'd like to see a side by side of the engines.

Planned on driving it to work, but it was completely dead. I last drove it Wednesday, or maybe it was Saturday. The battery isn't brand new, but isn't old either.

Is there anything that is typical of the P80 to discharge a battery over a few days? I don't recall exactly when I drove it last... either Wednesday, or last Saturday.

A couple of mine have had glove box light issues, and one had a sticky door latch contact that left the interior lights on, tough to notice in daylight.
The cooling fan relay thing would be pretty obvious.
Might be easier to load test the battery before chasing ghosts in the fuse box.

Ah. that's a great first place to look. My glove box light switch has been zip-tied for quite some time. I bet the zip-tie broke, or slipped off. I completely forgot about that until you mentioned it.

Checked on the glove box light today, and I don't think that's it. It was still secured with the zip-tie. I did remove the battery and have to charging now. When I checked the voltage it was under 5 volts.

picked up 4 oem air intakes for slightly under msrp for my na 98 fleet. they over ordered so i got a deep discount on the latter two.

Hoping it will last as all three of the air intakes in my 98 na vehicles are bad. I dont have the same luck with the turbo and manual trans it seems. Funniest part is that i went to two u pulls and neither had good air intakes on the 98's. Might live on my shelf until this brick becomes a senior citizen.

Me? No, I'm in MI. Batteries can last 10 years here....anything less than 7 and I'm going to be disappointed in my purchase.

I charged the battery outside the car, first with my 2/10amp charger, and then with my 1amp NOCO. I've been driving it the last couple of days. I still think there may be an issue, but driving it daily prevents a no-start for now. I may do some testing this weekend.

I do wonder if the alternator is charging at too low a voltage. I'm used to 14.x charging, and the 850 has always been under 14, for me.
