Rear subframe corrosion 2009 S80 T6 AWD needs frame

Well. I have never in my life had to scrap a car due to corrosion. But this may be the first unless I can find an entire rear subframe including trailing arms and all the other bits. Otherwise the car is working very well and has no other major problems at this time. 220k miles so far.
It is such a nice car to drive, the best Volvo I have owned out of the 5 since 1992. Although the 2013 XC70 T6 [bought new] was also a wonderful car. At present I even own a Saab.

Does anyone know where I can find a complete used subframe.

I live on Prince Edward Island Canada. The cost for new at dealer is in $CDN $1800 + $1002 for 2 trailing arms + about 8 to 10 hours at the shop. that's somewhere like $4000. I can buy an entire used S80 for between $3 and $5,000. I believe this car has another 60.000 km of life in it. In the last 4 years I have replaced; rear shocks, Haldex pump, pwr steering pump, belts, pullies, water pump, both struts and mounts, lower front control arms complete with ball joints, Cat, tires summer and winter, upgraded to 336mm rotors and calipers, a/c comp. struts, etc etc.

Yeah, you will have DIY to make this an economical repair. You should be able to get these parts dry ftom our Southern Canada States like AZ in new condition.

Thanks for not invading us, and we enjoy those wonderful Russett potatoes you grow every year, mixed with our Iowa potatoes in solidarity.

Supplementary question. Are there any other Volvo models that use the same rear subframe?
