'98 V70 XC - lock button stays down & can't be pulled up
New to me '98 XC. The REAR (no lock) drivers side door is locked closed. All the other auto locks work, but not this one - lock button stays down & can't be pulled up. With difficulty I managed to pull the inside panel with the door closed. Now I'm looking at the black latch actuator wondering what to do next. The cable from the inside handle moves, but I suspect it isn't doing anything. If I pull the wiring to the actuator, (a) can I get it out of there and (b) will I then be able to open the door. Thanks for any advice.

Pretty common once these cars get to Senior Citizen status. Robert did a series,
... some of what he covers is for 850s, which is a whole 'nuther sport, but the idea is similar.
Had the same issue twice in the past, but it's been a while. Both doors finally yielded.
On the back doors it is most likely just stuck as opposed to something actually broken.
Robert's buddy Handy Dan has a few Y/T vids as well, but the front door jammed is the next level dance, and doesn't involve the lock mechanism.
Patience is a virtue here.
