I'll be replacing my front brake flex hoses this weekend; look like the originals and they are toast. I want to lift the rear of the vehicle to check those hoses, and spin the wheels to check for grabbing brakes.
Any concern with spinning the rear wheels while they're in the air and the car in Park? It's a FWD 2001 model so no rear prop shaft. Will the ECM not be happy about something and cause a fault since the computer knows it's in Park?

Why do you need to start the engine and put in Park?
