Lamborghini 350GT, '64-'67, 120 total before the introduction of the 400GT.

There is a legendary story about Enzo taking exception with Sr. Lamborghini over a clutch issue, which led to Ferruccio Lamborghini shifting from tractors and HVAC to roadgoing car design.

One source says the prototype engine made 335 HP - at an eye-watering 9400 RPM.
Cooler heads prevailed, and the final production car only had 280.

First thought it might be an early 1950's Fiat concept, but it does have an Italian influence!
Hudson Italia (1954, by Carrozzeria Touring), and correct it did have a limited production. Wow, quite the car.
