Wow..I learned something new today. Never would imagine such stupidity, but yet...in terms of TPMS I would highly recommend buying autel ts508wf tool and a couple of autel sensors. The tool can be bought from ebay for around $130 and sensors are around $25 or so(if I remember correctly). Benefits- you have tpms, tool is awesome and will serve you for years to come, cost of autel sensor is nothing in comparison to OEM(? $110-150) or even VDO sensors (? $50-75). Tool will allow you to program sensors to almost any car, tell you state of tpms battery life, allow to clone sensors, allow to test battery in key fob...you can get the tool and sensors and program them yourself. Then bring them to your tire place and ask to install. Then you can initiate them to the car(I think this year just needs to be driven above 30mph for 5 min or so to learn since the car is not "smart" to show you which sensor on which wheel is low
