2012 xc60 replaced cabin filter now seats tailgate and windows off

My poor husband thought the cabin air filter would be as easy to replace as the engine air filter. He spent about an hour and had to move the fuse box out of the way, move carpet and got it replaced.

When he got the glovebox back on he realized the glovebox light was off. Then I noticed we couldn’t move the front seats, the tailgate stopped working and the windows in the front stopped working!!!

He checked out the fuse box and it doesn’t look like anything is blown on the individual fuses. Any other suggestions before we get taken to the cleaners at the dealer? Thanks!

The "Fuse Box" under the dash is the Central Electronics Module (CEM). The electrical connections on the CEM are known to get flaky. Make sure he has the connectors all the way in and locked down all the way.

What was your fix? I changed cabin filter on the wife's and now the drivers seat wont work and the power windows from driver's door control wont work. I've taken it apart again and checking power to fuses. any help would be appreciated. i am used to auto repair but this Volvo is a little difficult to understand. 2012 xc60 with 90K miles
