1/13/26 update

I went to state registration because that's who has naming authority...and my report is a mood killer. They won't put a custom YMM on a homemade trailer. It'll be [year I finish building it] Shop Built Trailer. That sucks. However I'm going to keep this alive because it's not the end. I'll tell every person that asks that it's a 2026 Volvo Sportrailer GLT with 1998 V70 heritage. The scant amount of branding/labeling left on trunk lid is going in the trash. In its place is going to be shiny chrome letters reading Volvo Sportrailer GLT, in the time-period correct Volvo fashion.

I will have power for a mini fridge, sound system, and an entire int/ext light system. But today I thought about internet. It would be sick to have internet hooked up like I do here at my apartment. So I called my internet provider Vyve Broadband. They have great fast service and cs is almost always a breeze. Today it was. Do they have juntion boxes from which the external cable can disconnect? Well I finally got to someone who said it sounded familiar to something they might do for RVs. I should get a call back from them later. And then I remembered Amazon. 1/13/26 update4

Sorry for hogging the top spot today. I've been a roll and getting things done/information. This update is the wall plan on a sketch or two. I got messy too. Teaser: when I sell one or both vehicles in my driveway, I'm going to knock out the main expenses that will allow me to getting moving on the project. Main expenses: sound dampening, insulation, steel (wall, tubing, tongue), carpet/supplies, and exterior paint.
