Limp mode various fault codes - 2007 XC90 D5

Post by JoseMest »

Hi there, I have a 2007 XC90 D5 witch is now on limp mode. I have Vida dice, not that Im to good in using it but it helps me a few times.

Here is the fault codes in a potho if Im capable of upload it, from those faults there a few that I have from long time and I don’t bother about them are the, CCM-0004 passenger..., CCM-40 Air quality..., CEM-9C03 Antenna..., AUD-0015 and AUD-0017, the rest are kind of new.

I notice after going to limp mode that the connector of the Swirl actuator motor to the Swirl was disconnected and there more oil than usual, lot more, coming from that part of the swirl area. I have tried connecting that connector bar cleaned the fault codes and the car start normally as always but once I start moving the car with a bit of throttle the service engine come out and limp mode quick.

I have find this video in Youtube

""

with a very similar fault codes of what I have in my car with one exception the code ECM-135F in my car is "Too high" and in the video is "Too low" I don’t know if my limp mode can be for another reason and I don’t want to spend to much money changing parts in the car when I’m thinking to keep it for a few moths more only before getting rid of it.

I have tested with a DIY smoke like in the video and yes smoke is coming out from the same place as in the video. Do you guys think that If I change the swirl kit the car will be ok again?

Any help will be much appreciate and sorry for my English that it is not my mother language.
