That's amazing. I heard of stories at our local construction association of the sheer volume of paper when jobs went out to bid. Too funny.

Haha! Those are probably mine, a couple for the University, and a couple of Engineers.
Nowadays we click a button and zap, it gets sent to a plans center and all the bidders and I don’t print! I’m pretty much out of that world now.

It’s a balancing act, different depending on the job, who the client is, location, the current market, season, your reputation etc etc.
Thorough documents with a ton of details to explain every little bit can mean “Too complicated, too much paper, I’m not bidding on it.”
Bare bones drawings with little detail can mean “They don’t know what they’re doing, there’s not enough information, I’m not bidding on it.”
