Wow that is an old article! I hardly recognized John Simister. Man he looks young in that picture. He is now a more worn gentleman but still writing in a classic car magazine in the UK.

High lift overhead cam
Twin carbs
Counterbalanced crank
5000 rpm

WAY more advanced than an MG tractor motor.

I may try a set of these 4.5x18 tires. Wheels might be an issue.

The beautiful and luxurious "Estate Wagon". I'd guess 1974. The large Mormon family next door had one in my childhood with three rows of seating (facing forward) and the infamous clamshell tailgate. It was the wagon version of the "Electra" which evolved from the Buick 225 Electra.......and yes "225" meant to signify 225 inches in length although they grew to 233 inches in the mid '70's.
