Hope everyone in the NE is managing well with the snow... I think we're done for the year, we already had an absolute blizzard by NC standards! I'm ready for spring, I can't handle the cold... the low 40s we've been dealing with the past few days in unbearable.

Haha, I can't help but chuckle a little when someone down south says that, I would be celebrating low 40s right now. T-shirt weather!

Yeah, I'm from NJ but been down here for almost 20 years. I've lost any tolerance for the cold. It just makes me depressed and achy... and I'm not even 30 yet! I hate wearing layers, yet I'm freezing if it's under 60 degrees so it's a tricky situation trying to function from November through March in NC

You would get your cold tolerance back in about a month if you moved back.

I beginning to feel the cold more as I age out to oblivion but I was a pretty ice cold polar bear in my youth. Vinyl gloves under work gloves keeps hands dry and toasty and let me get a lot of stuff done in winter.

Here on Long Island winter is a lot of 30-40 F das where I can rip off a brake job in the driveway pretty comfortably

Yeah, I couldn't do it... I'm sure I'd get used to it if I moved back, but I don't foresee myself ever doing that! I'm wanting to move to Florida, Texas, Arizona, etc. most days, but I'm too established and I love NC too much to do that either. I just can't stand the winter!
