I did not forsee this since my car already had the check engine light for the front 02 sensor, however this is probably due to my extended back 02 sensor causing it to panic.
Basicly, since it was so new and the error has been there for already 2 years without issue, I thought it could never be the sensor....welp guess I learned to check what the error codes point towards and first check those parts, even though it might not be a new error....
Hello there!
Ill keep it as short as possible since I tend to make things a bit long hahaha.
My car: s70 1997 with a 850 t5r, it slightly modified with for example a reverse intercooler kit, chiptune, cone filter and exhaust
My issue: car holds back/has weird boost surge at partial throttle at lower rpm (1400-2000). With full throttle it happens way less. If it happens boost gauges goes for example from -10psi to -5psi. It feels like a sudden blockage of something and shoots away suddenly. Issue is most of the time like 2 seconds present and it does not happen all the time, just enough times to be really annoying
Things tried:
- TCV (viewtopic.php?t=90076)
- MAF sensor
-TPS
- compressor bypass -> ipd heavy duty
- vacuum hoses for new ones
- front 02 sensor
-cleaned grounds
- cleaned distributor
Some maintanence that has happened in the meantime:
- oil changed
- spark plug and leads
-fuel filter
- fuel injector addative
- new battery
I hope someone knows this issue or can help me with what else the issue can be, thanks in advance!
