Request for advice, timing belt quandry

If youre able to remove the belt and lay it on a dead flat surface. Last time I came across similar the new belt was not flat in the lateral plane and that was causing it to wander across the pulleys.

As for the noise, sorry, cant help there.

Edit. Just realised its a year old problem. Apologies, although the knowledge may help someone in the future.
