It's that time of year and I need to replace my blower motor. It's been acting up that last couple winters, progressively getting worse.
How do I get at it? Can my local elec motor rewind shop repair it? Would it be cheaper to just get a used one? Main question is..I have to get at it to pull it out.
Thanks in advance,

Although I've never done it, on other forums, it says that it is fairly easy to replace: remove the kick panel on the passenger side, remove the ECU and ECU bracket, then three screws and a wiring connector. Problem is, those prior to '80, if bad should be completely replaced with new units as the newer one's won't work and the older ones- well, used ones are prone to failure as well (at least what I've read). www.fcpgroton.com or eeuroparts.com should sell new blower units for your car. Make sure the power stage next to the blower isn't the problem...if it is, even with a new fan, it's not going to work.
